Little Thetford Parish Council
Welcome to Little Thetford
Little Thetford is an attractive rural village situated three miles to the south of Ely in the county of Cambridgeshire in England. It is close to the City of Cambridge, famous for its Universities, and Newmarket, the centre of British horse racing. Originally a dispersed farming community which can be traced back to the thirteenth century, Little Thetford is now a mixture of both traditional and newer developments. There is a strong sense of community which ensures that village life is thriving. We have an active Village Hall, Community Primary School, Pre-School, Church and Social Club, although residents rely on nearby towns and villages for shopping and many essential services.
This website is a community hub resource and captures Parish Council and Community activities alongside the village history.
