Code of Conduct 2024

Council Policys Uploaded on May 16, 2024

The Localism Act 2011 (s.27) places a “duty to promote and maintain high standards of conduct” on all local authorities. To discharge this duty Parish Councils must adopt a Code of Conduct that defines the conduct expected from members and co-opted members whilst acting in that capacity.

The Code of Conduct adopted by Little Thetford Parish Council can be found below. It is based upon the model Code of Conduct from the Local Government Association (LGA) 2020.  CodeOfConduct2024

Any complaints about the conduct of a member or co-opted member should be made to the Clerk in the first instance.
